My dear Peter,

An excellent macro here! If I am not wrong there is some water under the beautiful flower buds. It looks so interesting!
Wonderful capture Peter!!

My dear Füsun,

Thank you so much for your enthusiastic visit to this plant. It is a kind of BROMELIAD, but there are thousands of varieties.. This is where they keep their water!

Maybe you could buy one for your house!

Love Peter

Hi Peter,

How unusual! It looks like a little garden in the middle of the plant, with its own little micro-climate!! A very nice picture.

Best wishes, Rosa.

Hi Rosa ,
Thank you for visiting!
I'm pleased that you have enjoyed it!
I did find out that the plant is a Bromeliad, and this is a normal behaviour for them!
(But not being an expert on plants I know nothing more - sorry!)

Best Wishes, and a Good Weekend,
Peter

Hi Val,
Your visit is most welcome. Thank you.
Glad you like it.
This is in the 'Tropical House' of a botanic garden, certainly not native here!
Best Wishes, and a Good Week Ahead,
Peter
