Glad you like it.
When I woke, there were no clouds in the sky, and the sun had just risen over the horizon..
By the time I got here, not so long after, well you can see!!
So we try our best in the circumstances!
Best Wishes, and a good Week ahead
Peter
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to LotharW clubA nice collection of locomotives here, which I am glad you enjoyed. There were actually another two off to the right as well. Certainly a good start to the day!

Can't help it, but makes me think of Thomas the Tank Engine.

You must go to Nene Valley to find Thomas!!

Best wishes, Rosa.
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Rosalyn HilborneThank you so much for your visit here. I am so happy that you have enjoyed the spectacle of these four warming up for the day. There is always something magical about the smoke laden atmosphere of an engine shed! (And the gentle hiss of steam escaping from drain cocks...)
Best Wishes, and a good week ahead

I'm pleased you enjoyed this. The Jubilee and Black 5 were off to the right, but I have other photos of them (especially 'Bahamas') to come.
Best Wishes, and a good week ahead

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Andy Rodker clubYour thoughtful visit is really appreciated.
Shortly after this photo, the two in the middle were coupled together, and left for Oxenhope. The one on the left, 46521, is always surrounded by escaping steam.. www.ipernity.com/doc/2247998/44664808 , but didn't leave for a while. The big one on the right wasn't actually rostered for anything that day, it was kept ready 'just in case of need'.
Best Wishes
Peter
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to GrahamH clubThank you so much. There were another two over to the right, but that picture wasn't so good..
Glad you like it!

Thank you for getting up early to bring this shot !
Glad you like it! A visit to the sheds early or late is always a worthwhile thing to do, even if only for the simple reason you can see all the locos together!
Best Wishes, and a good weekend
Peter
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Erhard Bernstein clubThank you for visiting!
I'm pleased that you have enjoyed it!
I am still working through the photos from here, but there were another two locomotives off camera to the right. Eventually, all will appear!!
Best Wishes, and a Good Weekend,
Peter
