Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Nick Weall clubThank you for visiting!
I'm happy that you had a good look and good think!!
A very interesting observation!! Perhaps to move up a few steps they need to have a look at the world around them!!!!
Best Wishes,
Peter
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Herb Riddle clubYour visit is most welcome. Thank you.
I am pleased you found it interesting.
As I said to Lothar below, there was so many things they could be doing, but (as you figured out) I saw an opportunity to try and make some composition from this.... And maybe a message too!
Best Wishes,
Peter
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to LotharW clubThank you so much for your very kind visit.
Glad you like it.
Of course the photo doesn't show what is behind them.. If only they would look at it!!
The old fort www.ipernity.com/doc/2247998/48203338 They could visit there!
Or the military museum.. www.ipernity.com/doc/2247998/48154052
Or even the mermaid.. www.ipernity.com/doc/2247998/48139976
Best Wishes,

A very interesting picture here!
I like the great lines very much! And the young couple in this spot, makes the picture more attractive!
A wonderful capture indeed!

Of course there is plenty to do, but these two seem so engrossed in stroking their little toy....
And such empty space too!
Love Peter

It is amazing, isn't it? What a difference. You have to wonder...how much less of a life do they have compared to us? How much have they missed out on? How much will they miss out in the future. Of course online lives are worthy...but they are lacking in so many ways.
Nevertheless, a super picture!! Thanks for sharing!
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Janet Brien clubYour visit is much appreciated!! Thank you!!!
I certainly do wonder too.. These kids never become streetwise. Every time there is a crime or disaster, then instead of going to help, all they do is film it on their little phones.
There are so many things within a stone's throw of here...

OK, rant over....
Of course I wanted to try and make a picture here....!!
Best wishes

Maybe too much sun to see their phone screens properly ;-)) It's a very good picture and I love the lines of steps and the stone in between....great colour!
Best wishes,
Rosa.
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Rosalyn HilborneThank you so much for your informed judgement! Do you ever imagine your grandchildren like this? No, they have horses, pretty villages, .... and beaches...
Perhaps there is a deep message here!!
Of course I figured it would make a nice picture, and I am pleased you like it too.
Best Wishes, and a good week ahead
Peter
Rosalyn Hilborne has replied to Peter_Private_Box clubI have just the one grandchild and she is 10 years old. Does horse riding, piano playing, singing and her time on the i-pad is strictly limited, thank goodness. She also likes steam trains and old buildings....so that's a companion for me for a long time to come....I hope ;-))
All the best,
Rosa.
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Andy Rodker clubThank you for such an interesting point of view, which I can certainly understand!!
Look at the mess of Brexit.. Nearly every day someone gets murdered in London, yet the police are more interested in nicking people for 'racist' jokes.. Our country is definitely in a mess!!!!!
(And it is not the only one!)
Best Wishes
Peter
The long and wide flight of steps, so finely detailed and lighted, epitomize so strongly the absence of their any real interest in the surrounding world, at least in my opinion .
Cells seems to have become a sort of fortress where they can take shelter from against the messy desert of any social -ethic values in contemporary world
Very keen and effective representation!!
best wishes-Bea
