As you know, I had planned the moon rise, and set off to this Windmill. I had no idea I would get such a sunset. Unfortunately, I was a little late getting there, and this was a bit of a rushed picture. Of course we were able to share the time waiting for the moon to appear out of the heat haze. The truth of it was that I wanted a photo of the full moon, and I pondered where I could go for this. The idea of this windmill came up, as it is very near to a friends house, and clear access all round. When I got there, we had a very nice sunset too..

A bit of a bonus shot from the night. When I got to site I didn't plan on any kind of sunset, but just got lucky, although a bit of a rush to get the camera set up for it.
Main reason to attend was to see the moon rise.
Certainly worth remembering for a future full moon when it is not so hazy..
