Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Nick Weall clubThank you so much!
I had been here for the gala weekend, but as you can see the rain came too!
Best Wishes
Peter
I agree with Nick. You have done a wonderful picture in "Haworth station"! A nice steam train, passengers, and their stories on a rainy evening...
Very impressive indeed!!
A big YS!!

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to gezginruh clubThank you so much for visiting Haworth again! It is so many years since last time!
We know that railway stations can be very emotive places at night. As you say, people have such different reasons to be there. Some waiting for their loved ones to come back from a hard day at work... Others, well, who knows!!
Love Peter

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to LotharW clubThank you so much. Sometimes the rain can be our friend, but many times our enemy!!
I am pleased that you like the result.

Good Morning ! Wish you a nice day !
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Ulrich John clubThank you so much for your interest here.
It was not so dark, more twilight, that horrible time when everything looks dull and flat, but enough light left in the sky to live by. I am very happy that you like the result.
Best Wishes

Best wishes ... Steve
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to SteI am pleased that you appreciated my efforts here! The afternoon was pretty useless, except for visiting the signal box. But, at least I have something!
Best Wishes
Peter.
I love so much this so strikingly atmospheric image of a British Railway Station in a wet evening, which , anyway, let us and the passengers , each one with his/her own thoughts and feelings , enjoy the lights and their reflections.
Well, It reminds me of my travelling by train through Britain in my much younger times! :-)
Best wishes

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Beatrice Degan(MARS)As always your imaginative visits are most welcome!!
Just a few passengers this time, and nobody hanging round in the shadows waiting..
I am glad your memory has been revived!!
Best Wishes
Peter.
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Gudrun clubI guess that you must have been here at some point. This would have been the Bronte's local station, then maybe 5 minutes walk up the hill to their house, and then another 5 minutes out onto the moors... Cold and wet.. What a life!!
Best Wishes
Peter.
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Valfal clubThank you so much! I spent a whole day here on the railway, and wanted to make some different pictures. As it was dusk, all the pretty scenic options had gone away, so I thought I would try the stations. I don't know if this locomotive was ever this maroon colour in real service, but I agree with you, it certainly suits it now!
Best Wishes
Peter
