I am so happy that you like the scene. There is in fact a public footpath behind me which goes up the embankment and over the track, but the view is much too 'head on', and somewhat dangerous.

There's a striking difference between the green meadow in the foreground and the "wilderness" on the embankment;-) A lovely steam train! Belated HFF, Peter, have a good weekend!

The difference is simply explained.. Cows normally live in the field where I was standing (but not today), while the embankment is growing wild.
