Peter_Private_Box club has replied to SteAs always, your quick visit has made me very happy, thank you!
In a way they do swim in synchronisation, maybe male and female together, I don't know. Difficult part is guessing where they will surface for air. In this case the best I got is what you see. I have loads of picture of dorsal fins sticking out of the water, but on this day nobody was jumping out to be photographed.. Up for air, and straight down again!!
Best Wishes
Peter
Very well capture, my dear Peter!

Thank you so much for coming to see these two. It certainly looks like they are swimming together, maybe in love.!. But who knows what wonders go on under the water where nobody can see!!!!
I am very happy that you enjoyed it
Love Peter

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Gudrun clubThank you so much for your interest. Of course being wild animals nothing is guaranteed, so I think we were all very happy!
As the EXIF says, I did have a zoom lens on the camera, but at full zoom you had to be pointing it at exactly the right place where the animals would surface. I found that this approach didn't work, so a went for a wider angle, and made a very severe crop of the resulting picture!

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Jaap van 't Veen clubThank you so much for your visit here!
I am sure that one day the chance will come to you. Maybe some other country...?

I agree with Gudrun! A wonderful sight to see. What were the temperatures like out there Peter? I am trying to decide on a trip, but don't like anywhere too hot. That's why I tend to go in winter/spring time....or autumn ;-)) A superb shot.
Best wishes, Rosa.
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Rosalyn HilborneYour visit is most welcome! Thank you so much!
I am so pleased that you have enjoyed these whales. The reality was that we went out the day before, and saw nothing, so the tour company gave us a second trip free. (as per their standard T&Cs). Temperatures were great, just like our summer, and not stupidly hot either.. Maybe I should dig out some street scenes to show you..
Best Wishes
Peter
I silly missed this wonderful scene of dancing whales which seem to welcome your trip and , now , even mine, in my imaginations..thanks to you.
Best wishes Peter from Bea
