Stunning shot you have to go along way to get better than this . while I sit wit only a singlet on love the chance to walk these old hills and enjoy the views.

I feel for you Steve - so much warmth instead of this cold wind and snow but I must admit this cold weather has its compensations now and again with light on views like this here. Thanks for enjoying this with me and you never know- you may well get a chance to walk our Pennines again someday.

Another absolutely stunning Image Herb perfect composition perfect amount of snow this Image would have won the CWP another ⭐ will have to visit the Chew valley again.

You are so kind Toz. This morning it would have been even better and as I write this I can see the snow glistening on the tops around their with full rare sun on them. As you can see, I have a few of these lone trees and the ones I put into the CWP were nice too. You HONOUR me with this comment and gold star!

The square format works perfectly for the shape of the tree and the slope of the hills in the background,. The diffused light is lovely as is the colour palette. A first-class winter landscape..!!

Another for the box labeled 'Nice one's from Herb' Keith. Got to admit that i try hard to please my viewers on here and when I see comments such as yours it make sit all worthwhile. Of course, this is my 'bread & butter' landscape photography and a relatively small hike in weather like this is a small price to pay -if pay is the right description. very happy that you liked the format and colours on here.
