Dovestones reflections with 40 Row.

Dovestones reservoir can be a wild place. It is often broody and sometimes there are large waves on here in freezing winds. Today however, it is another soft reflective day when there is nowhere better to calm one's nerves from the daily toil of life. In the background we see a row of houses know by the rough number of dwellings that there are: '40 Row'. They were originally around 20 back to back houses here, built for the mill workers of the nearby 'Greenfield Mill' around 1820-1860. Nowadays, very much sought-after as this reservoir area is a great tourist attraction.
