Wonderful mountain panorama Herb.

Like this panorama Herb of Alderman’s Hill and Pots and Pans .Beautiful light on the centre of the hills and a nice frame.Never been up on that side of the hills.

Glad you enjoyed this view Gordon. Taken from the Mossley side of Greenfield. A nice walk along the paths on those hills. A lane traverses the whole scene here just above that middle cottage. Naturally a lane then a steep path gets visitors to the monument too, where wreaths are lain on Remembrance Day as well as prayer said. I think I have walked along the top edge as well, but a good while back now.

I've just got a new (to me) car........so I'm hoping to get out and about again......but there's no scenery anything like this near me :-(

Thanks so much Keith. always good when somebody likes my local landscapes. This normally looks a little mundane but when the conditions are right it can all look quite beautiful. In that I realise that I am lucky to have such places on my doorstep. The sea is a good hour or so's drive though. - So a new car, in that event, I look forward to your travels in photos.
