Die Pilzzeit ist eröffnet - The mushroom season is open

Nach einer langen Periode großer Hitze in Franken ist es mittlerweile zwar noch warm, aber ziemlich regnerisch. Also ideales Pilzwetter. Und tatsächlich fand ich dieses zwar schon etwas ältere, aber trotzdem schöne Exemplar eines Riesenschirmpilzes (Macrolepiota procera). Der Fundort befand sich neben einem abgeernteten Feld.

After a long period of great heat in Franconia, it is now still warm but quite rainy. So it was an ideal mushroom weather. And indeed, I found this somewhat older, but still beautiful specimen of a parasol mushroom (Macrolepiota procera). The place of discovery was next to a harvested field.
