There is a colony of black swans who live here. Their ancestors were brought from Australia many generations ago.

A lovely weathervane. I would love one like this! When we moved here there was a weathervane with two owls, but it clanged about so much when it was windy, that we took it down and it is now in the garden!

I am sure such a weather vane would not be difficult to come by.. Blow up the picture, and copy the swan shape onto a piece of sheet steel. Then put it on any generic weather vane!!
