I am pleased you found it interesting.
As I remember it was £1 per stem, but of course if you cut near the ground you could end up with quite a few flowers for your money!
Best Wishes,
Peter

Glad you like it.
The money was going to a local charity, but there were a fair few people busy picking them.
The lady didn't say why they planted them, other than it was a 'one time venture', but I suspect this was a last ditch attempt to do something worthwhile with them as the original idea didn't materialise (maybe due to the virus) ..
Best Wishes,
Peter

In fact she doesn't need one as it is outside.. (and before the rules required one in shops).
The deal is "Pick your own", so nobody but you touches, or goes anywhere near, your flowers.
Let me also say that she did have a whole stack of cleaning products on the table, kept her distance, etc etc.. and behaved very responsibly. I did photoshop a lot of that sort of stuff out of the picture.
Best Wishes,
Peter

As I said to Steve above, there is maybe a little more to the story than meets the eye. The reality is that she is only there for a few hours each day, for one week only, and they are her sunflower crop!!
Best Wishes,
Peter

I am pleased you found it interesting.
She lives very close, and was only there for one week to sell off the excess crop. An ideal way to pass a few hours every day, and meet nice people!
Best Wishes,
Peter

Je suis tellement contente que vous aimiez la scène, en particulier la feuille d'érable. La dame est canadienne!

In England it is very unusual to have people selling from the side of the road like this, but she was only doing it for one week, and she picked a great day to be there!!
