Now let us calculate... The rotation is around 15 degrees (ie 1/24 revolution) in 1/8 second, so about 1 revolution in around 3 seconds.
I tried a few different exposure times, and a longer time makes it difficult to make out the blades, as they spend less percentage time in each part of the image...... The best seemed to be 10 or 20 degrees worth of rotation.
Best Wishes,
Peter
volker_hmbg club has replied to Peter_Private_Box clubSo I agree that you have found the best solution to show the rotation of the blades.

At sunset they look good and you have captured them beautifully. In the day time, not so good, but I suppose we have to live with them now :(
Best wishes,
Rosa.

Unfortunately we do have to live with them, despite the fact that everybody in the village (bar one of Greta's mates) objected. Now I am not suggesting that the planning committee were taking backhanders from the developers, but somehow they got approved!
Best Wishes,
Peter
