The silver light on the sea and the gold in the sky are fascinating! Even with outgoing tide I'd have been wary of the treacherous sands of Morecambe Bay;-)

I remember watching from the shore... within an hour the water had gone from the shore iteslf to around 1Km or so ... And as you have said, it will come back just as quickly!
