Hi Isabel,
Thank you very much!
I am pleased you found it interesting.
I had passed the same spot a couple of hours earlier, and they were all floating!
Best Wishes,
Peter

Superb! ... but I can't help remembering those poor Chinese cockle gatherers from a number of years back every time I see or hear a reference to the tides in this bay!.

Hi Andy ,
Thank you so much for your very kind visit.
Glad you like it.
As I said to Isabel, I had passed the same spot a couple of hours earlier, and they were all floating. Perhaps pictures like this will serve as a reminder that the tide here comes and goes very quickly indeed. I didn't see any other warnings along the beach... which is a shame.
Best Wishes,
Peter

Hi Steve,
Your visit is most welcome. Thank you.
I am pleased you found it interesting.
As I said above, we remember the cockle pickers, and we know. I am sure others will need to be told in the future.

Definitely a case of boating about in muck ...

Lovely scene, looks vaguely familiar for some reason.

Hi Sara ,
Thank you so much for your very kind visit.
I am pleased you found it interesting.
I suppose it does look a little like Porthmadog, which you must have seen, but it could also be any other river estuary!!

I love the slighty surreal sight of boats fallen dry at low tide:-)

Hi Gudrun ,
Thank you very much!
I'm pleased that you have enjoyed it!
When I walked past that spot a few hours earlier, they were floating, but somehow didn't look so interesting!
Best Wishes, a good weekend, and stay safe!

So different to when the tide is in Peter, and beautifully captured.
Not a place I know, but maybe one day!

Best wishes, Rosa.

Hi Rosa,
Thank you very much!
Glad you like it.
The beach here is so shallow a slope that the difference between low and high tide equates to a very long way out. As others have said, don't go a long way out, because you can't get back quick enough!!! Otherwise enjoy the place!!
Best Wishes, and stay safe!
