I am pleased you found it interesting.
Not so far away is a very long tunnel, and a few sidings associated with it are controlled by this box. It is very close to civilisation, and there is a cafe just behind the bushes on the left, right next to the canal..

This is the foothills of the Pennines (and Herb Riddle country). It is also a place I used to pass on the train so many times as a student going back and forth to university, but until this day never seen it any other way!
