i am fortunate in that two of my fravourite walking places (Cornwall and The Mountains iof Madrid) have been readily available to me till about 3 years ago. I am hoping very much to be ale to visit both before the year is out!

Unlike one of my digital cameras, my trusty Nokia N95 was always correct with the dates and I can rememebr this walk perfectly well as being on the 1st May. So Spring yes, but the typical spring flowers of these places were yet to show (mainly cistus and lavender, both of which were about 2 weeks away)). I recall capturing a few orchids though!

Silly me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I suspect autumn will be a bit too soon. I'm making steady progress but the most difficult thing for me is sustained uphill walking - but I'm working hard on it!!!
(Yes, I know I mentioned autumn in a reply to Roger, but that was in one of my more optimistic moods!).
