More apricots.

Actually this shot was taken a couple of weeks ago. I took the last three fruit off the tree yesterday. In the background is a white rose bush.

Andy Rodker club has replied to ROL/Photo clubBut pleased you like the photo!

Andy Rodker club has replied to Rosalyn HilborneWe're somewhat too far north for citrus fruit but apricots, figs and nisperos (japanese loquats - delicious!) are rife about now!

but ... two weeks ago already apricot ???
Andy Rodker club has replied to Nora Caracci clubYes! It's something I had to get used to when I moved to Spain over 10 years ago! Their main harvest for fruit and veg is in May!!!! Up till then, I had always thought of September, October as harvest time! Not here!!!
Andy Rodker club has replied to Roger Bennion clubI've had more than my fill of them these past couple of weeks and there are maybe only a dozen or so now in the fridge.
As I mentioned to Nora above, it took a while to get used to the fact that our UK harvest season fruit and veg. is, for the most part here, in May!!!
Many thanks, Roger!
