Very much May flowers here as these are on the lower slopes. In the first two weeks of June, you see them on the higher slopies and meadows.

There seems to be such a range of wildflowers there. A lovely image.

Had hoped to capture an orchid or three but they had more or less gone over by May. A month earlier would have seen them and a month later the meadows are dominated by wild lavender species. Thank you, George!

The wild tulips are a joy to see! Much nicer than some of the big cultivated varieties...

Yes it is a famous place ,especially in lavender time... We have lots of pictures from there, with the lavender fields but my preference was this picture for the HWW.

Yes, I recognised the place immediately, even without the lavender field, Füsun! That part of Provence has to be one of my favourite places that I know anywhere in the world and I'd like to go back there some day!
