Poppy in the Sunshine

This was taken back in June.............so I thought it was about time I shared it. I particularly liked the way the sun was making the petals translucent. Hope you like it too.

At first I thought it was a tulip, until I saw the hairy stalk. How beautiful it looks with the sun shining through, and the background bokeh is gorgeous.
