A fantastic macro. Alliums are perfect for this sort of photography and you have captured all the beautiful detail.

Thanks Gudrun.............it was a bit windy outside for macro shots, and we were going to save the seeds anyway, so I thought I'd bring them indoors to make focusing easier (and I could sit down with a cup of coffee while doing it).

Absolutely beautiful Keith. The detail and clarity are amazing, even when viewing closer than full screen. I love the colours and the backdrop. I had intended to try more indoor shots, but haven't got around to it yet. Autumn might be a good time, if the leaves are a decent colour after the hot weather!

Autumn and winter could be a great time for indoor photography..........collecting leaves, pine cones etc would be a good idea to get you going.
