I love the shapes in the water, reflecting the colours of the sky and trees, as well as the coots very nice reflection. I can never remember the difference between the coot and moorhen! I agree, the bird is often overlooked. You have done it justice here though Keith.

The best way to tell the difference between the coot and the moorhen is that the coot has the white "shield" on it's forehead.

Beautiful light and colours on the water Keith and a lovely shot of the coot. I love the movement of the water and the reflections. It is good to see the coot in close up as they are often ignored in favour of the ducks and swans.
