I had walked down the canal from Grandpa Greenes’ café to just past here. Yes, a big stone viaduct that I traveled over many times on my way to University, and many times I had looked out of the window at the canal knowing that a long tunnel followed.. Today I got to walk along the canal path! And share some pictures!
Love Peter

A perfect place for a cafe! I like the inclusion of the couple and even a train passing by! What could be better. What was Herb's idea!?
Best wishes,
Rosa.

I am so happy that you like the scene.
I too was pleased that the lady in pink walked past! There were a lot of people out enjoying this canal, and I am sure the cafe was busy too.
Herb lives very close to here, and he gave me some ideas as to a good place to walk. Very kind gentleman!
Best Wishes,
Peter

Needless to say I took a lot of pictures along this walk. Maybe one day a steam train might be seen here.
Best Wishes,
Peter
Keep safe and happy travels. Herb
Thank you so much for your very kind visit, and of course the initial idea.
I walked from Grandpa Greene's (which was doing a roaring trade), under the viaduct, and along a bit further before going back.
It is possible that the 'higher view point' was from a drone or simply a long pole, rather than standing there. I have seen both done before.
I suppose if you wait long enough a steam train might come, but there are very few excursions running now due to the virus.
Best Wishes,
Peter
