Hi Rosa,

Thank you very much for your visit to the windswept Bosphorus!
This is the place from which you catch the ferry boat to the Asia side. During the height of the wind, the boats stop sailing.
As for the semi circle, I think the idea is to stop those destined for Darwin awards from climbing round the wall...!
