A good capture Peter and well spotted. I must admit to finding the likelihood of a young girl in this state of undress, texting and listening to music, a bit unrealistic though. - In this state of undress, yes but.....Artistic licence! Works for me though.
I know that Germany has much of its new culture written in English -but perhaps this was made for the English market but the artist had difficulties selling it ?

Thank you for your well informed comment. As I said to Rosa, what it means, or how it got there, I have no idea! You could be right, maybe the sculptor couldn't sell it anywhere else! (Or maybe there are a few more identical ones from the same mould distributed about the world..)
Maybe easier to make 'No clothes' rather than sculpt 'some clothes' (what kind of clothes?)

I think it is not so important the words are in English.
It found in Germany, but "youth of today" is everywhere!
The mobile phones have become so integral to our lives now , and raises an important question!
