The story of St Odile is very special, and it was nice to be there to see it. Of course in better weather we might just get the sun to be in the right place, with a beautiful sunset, but not on this day of thunderstorms!
Best Wishes, and a Good Week ahead,
Peter
Another interesting picture here!!
The legend of Saint Odile or “child of light” is an impressive story really. Also it is very impressive location!! A very beautiful abbey on top of the Vosges mountain!
Unfortunatelly it was a rainy day...Thunderstorm!
So we couldn'twalk around the Rock onto which the convent was built, and we couldn't see see Saint-Odile source, and the famous pagan wall. But of course we have enjoyed Mont Sainte-Odile! Another wonderful memory!
