The bridge

The bridge
A misty morning's walk brings me to this old railway bridge. All is quite today, not even many dog walkers but that could all change. At the moment just listen to the silence.

There's a real melancholic feel to this image Herb................the murky light, the mist, the dark underside of the bridge all come together wonderfully and I like the muted colour palette!

Hi Keith. I have just returned from a magnificent walk in the Autumn clear sun -it could not be more different than this one.Its quite amazing how our weather can shift. - Good that you have felt the atmosphere here and as you say, somewhat melancholic for sure. Very happy that you enjoyed it all the same and many thanks too for looking up 'The Phantom Raspberry Blower' -its been a while since I last saw that little gem!
