The rocks of Glassillaun Bay

Another look at this gorgeous bay. By the time I had walked to the far edge of the bay the clouds had thickened up with the promise of weather to come. A dice with death here as my feet was beginning to slip whilst bend down to get this p.o.v. A vertical format here to give a sense of depth with this outcrop of very interesting rock.

I also wanted to say thank you for your visits to my photo stream and your wonderful comments about my pictures! As well, your remarks about my descriptions, which I freely admit, are often very long. I guess the story is that I am doing two things: I am writing something for Pam to enjoy (as my photography reboot is all because of her...go back to my first picture of this project to read about that), and I am also presenting a journal entry of my day. I do go on and on but it's it's fun to journal...lasting memories this way and to my great surprise, people really seem to enjoy my musings. :) And...I guess I cannot help but write about my pictures so there you go! :)
Hoping you have a lovely day, and of course, I look forward to seeing your next incredible image!
Herb Riddle club has replied to Janet Brien clubIn practice, even though retired, I cannot spend the time to pen as much as this in comments nor my descriptions as you seem to do. ~ I take the point about a possible bokeh background too - ah, so many choices but in practice my lens is not very good for that. I am almost halfway through my recent Irish fortnights holiday with this shot.
Your on-going personal diary (almost) to Pam, is both revealing and heart-warming and I shall try to read more of those too. In the meantime, I shall endeavour, further, to follow the last couple of my photos that you admire with more that you can muse about and that I can be proud off.
Best Wishes, Herb
ps, like your comments, I look forward to Keith's heart-felt comments too.
Janet Brien club has replied to Herb Riddle clubI also love handing out the pats on the back, because we all enjoy feeling good about our photography, no matter where we are on that journey. Just because you can consistently produce outstanding pictures doesn't mean you don't like a heartfelt compliment too. :)
My verbose style is part of who I am--of course it doesn't hurt that I am an extremely fast typer! :D It's very important that I can give back and make people happy, to give encouragement, to inspire, to contribute in some way to add to a person's positive aspects of their day. It makes me feel great and everyone (ok, within reason) deserves to feel good about themselves! :)
I'm so glad that you are enjoying my journal entries too! :) It's been a lot of fun and has helped me too. Who knew that coming back to help a friend would make such a big change in my life?!
Looking forward to your next picture! :D
