Wow...just wow...Herb, thank you so much for your deep and sincere comment. It was so nice to read and think about. It really is wonderful to have the skills to be able to work with our photos to make them the best they can be. We both believe that the subjects deserve the attention, because we love how they made us feel when we captured the image. It is our desire to express this in a way that people can get as much of our experience as possible. Kindred spirits are awesome things, no? :)

I also love handing out the pats on the back, because we all enjoy feeling good about our photography, no matter where we are on that journey. Just because you can consistently produce outstanding pictures doesn't mean you don't like a heartfelt compliment too. :)

My verbose style is part of who I am--of course it doesn't hurt that I am an extremely fast typer! :D It's very important that I can give back and make people happy, to give encouragement, to inspire, to contribute in some way to add to a person's positive aspects of their day. It makes me feel great and everyone (ok, within reason) deserves to feel good about themselves! :)

I'm so glad that you are enjoying my journal entries too! :) It's been a lot of fun and has helped me too. Who knew that coming back to help a friend would make such a big change in my life?!

Ha ha my friend, don't let me influence you too much, in case you don't like it :) I am almost finished with my first week of Ireland here, just one or two more perhasp from the Northern bit here in County Galway before I head for my second week in Count Kerry, a place with at least as many photo opportunities. Great that you have enjoyed these and again my thanks for that magnificent golden star.
