Wow, this one just jumped out at me from the array of "What's New" shots ...

Even better (!) on closer viewing ... lighting and reflections and soft hues and soft mist: and then the contrast of the tower and walkway, also with a sharp reflection ... maybe a casual hiking spot, but far more than a "casual" photograph ...

You flatter me Wally. This is another one from that great misty walk I had just a few short weeks ago now. I have some other stunners from there to come :) (I think). It certainly does Roger. This place will be crowded tomorrow (Christmas day) as it is becoming a favorite Christmas pastime for many local people to walk at least once a year around these wonderful reservoirs which are now filling up again with our constant rains..

Yes Peter -in a way that I love. I like mist but I like it better with clear bright sunlight just above like here on this special day. A rare still day too, making the great reflections.

Herb no better shot of this area could be taken , still water ,mist and great scenery.

Steve, you know better than most my love for this small area. It seems no matter how many years of photographing it, I always find something else to take. Absolute stunning Image Herb perfect in every way as always love the little bit of mist perfect subject .
I have seen many photos of Dovestones but not many of Yeoman Hay and even less of Greenfield.

Yes this is the second one and a great water to walk around, especially with the pine tree path, further up from me here on my left side. A great day, as you will now realise too. Thanks Peter and welcome again to part of my Dovestones collection here. A special day for sure in this sunshine and mist. No, I was not waiting for hours, I could see that it might have been nice from my house window, with low mist and sunshine. (it would have been good in my local park too) so I drove up fast and was not disappointed. A few minutes earlier however I would not have seen the water, the mist was so thick. We all dream of capturing conditions like this with our landscapes. Glad you enjoyed it.
