Meditation

Takeing a shortcut through a little used entrance to a park I spotted these two guys meditating on a bench in the sunshine. They looked very peaceful so I was careful not to disturb them. They are wearing robes associated with Buddhism, but of course I can't be sure that is the case.

I'm pretty sure they were meditating............I've no idea where they would sleep though. I would guess they were just resting before moving on.

I would think you are right in your assumptions Keith. Two superb shots. I especially like the PiP. They look so peaceful and at ease and the background is beautiful!

Glad you like these Rosa.............I was in two minds whether to take photos or not, but I decided that as long as I could do it without disturbing them I would go ahead.

Glad you like the photos - as I said to Rosa (above) I was in two minds whether to take photos or not, but I decided that as long as I could do it without disturbing them I would go ahead.

As to my subject matter, I just take photos of what I like and if others like them, then that's just great! Have a good weekend yourself.

magnifique photo.Ce sont des moines Thibétains (La bure des bouddhistes Vietnamiens est marron. Il fut un temps où je pouvais expliquer la différence entre le bouddhisme Thibétain et le bouddhisme Vietnamien. Celà me serait bien difficile aujourd'hui (en dehors de la couleur de la bure)
