Ivy

Ivy
Taken last week near Rowlands Castle, Hampshire. I was just about to get in the car when I spotted this ivy on a tree trunk, so of course I just had to get a photo.

Hope you like it..........and thanks for looking.

Günter Klaus, Fred Fouarge, Frans Schols, Ruesterstaude and 8 other people have particularly liked this photo

Lovely picture with the yellow and green! Leaves can be as attractive as flowers as this shot shows!

Well done, Keith!
I suspect most people would have ignored this as not of sufficient interest. Glad you proved them wrong!

I posted a similar shot but on a Cornish cliff face, Keith. It fascinated me just as these things fascinate you too! I'll post the link here if I can find it!

Ivy must be one of the most tenacious plants ever and one of the most widely distributed :-)

I must say, ivy often attracts my attention Keith. I love the different colours in your shot and the leaf shapes and detail on them is fascinating. You have captured them beautifully.

Thank you Rosa.......it was the larger yellow and brown leaf that initially grabbed my attention. Glad you like the shot!

Efeu verziert Baumstämme und Fassaden, wie du hier schön zeigst schädigt sie aber auch!

Thanks for your comments Ruesterstaude............glad you like the photo. I can't stop the Ivy from damaging the trees I'm afraid..........it's just the natural way of things.
