For the few weeks I had a Samsung phone (until it caught fire one night whilst re-charging - and Samsung wouldn't compensate me claiming water damage which was totally untrue - soon after there were reports of serial combustions with that model!!!!) and it actually took remarkably good quality pics; better than any other mobile phone with the exception of my (much lamented, having dropped it in a bog in Cornwall - not the toilet sort! -) Nokia N95!
(Just reread my notes here and realised it is a dog's dinner of a paragraph; not good from an English teacher! However, it would take me too long to re-cast the sentences!!! Call it laziness on my part!)

You should get another Nokia Andy...........the N95 can easily be found on Ebay and other sites for not too much money!

It a good photo Keith with excellent composition, colour and detail. It works really well viewed large and the fact that it is from a mobile is irrelevant I think. I often use my S10+ to shoot raw and the results are superb.

Thank you so much Ed...........and of course you're right about using mobile phones to take photos. It's something I only do occasionally, but I may have to re-think that!

A lovely meadow in front of this NT property. The Trust seems very proactive about wild flower shadows.

It is indeed Amelia.............Uppark is a beautiful place to visit at this time of year. They always make an effort to encourage wild flowers.

I remember this day well..............I was originally trying to capture a photo of some buzzards, which I failed miserably at. This shot was my consolation prize :-)))
