Spiderlings (not at all scary)!

Spiderlings (not at all scary)!
About this time of year I start looking for spiderlings. I couldn't find any in the back garden, but as my wife was putting out the garden waste bin for the recycling people to collect she found these in a web around the bin lid. So we had to delay putting out the bin so I could get a decent photo and then I picked them up carefully up and relocated them to a small flower pot in the corner of the garden.

If you can stand it, please view large for best effect. It's always difficult to get these completely in focus as they don't really stop moving :-)

For Macro Dreams Chalenges: multiples, Insects, repetition.

Günter Klaus, Ronald Losure, trester88, Jan and 19 other people have particularly liked this photo

Excellent colours and superb detail Keith well worth the short wait.
Couple of weeks back we opened an upstair window for an hour and dozens of miniture spiders found the route in, the eviction took ages.

Ha, ha..............sorry about that, but they really are cute as this stage in their life and completely harmless :-)

They've all disappeared now...........they put out a string of silk and let the wind blow them away to a new life!

Keith, that is incredible!!! Surely that multitude can't be from just one pair of spiders....can it? They are so cute. I hope they will not invade your indoors and give your poor wife a huge job of cleaning webs from ceilings and walls!

It definitely is Eunice!

They don't usually come indoors as they are garden spiders. Glad you like them.

I missed this photo when you first posted it, Keith. Wonderful group of baby spiders. I think the species is safe for a while.

Glad you like this one Güni..............sadly, this year so far I have hardly seen any spiders in the garden, I think maybe it has been too wet for them this year. I've seen a few webs, but they've all been empty. Maybe later in the year?

Thanks for your visit my friend.
