Love that PiP. Keith. We watched some lambs yesterday. They are growing rapidly now and almost lift the ewes off their feet when they nudge in to suckle.

Thank you Amelia.............when I was driving past, I thought they were goats climbing on the logs, which is why I initially stopped to look.

A great capture Keith...lambs bounding around full of glee which make children (and us) chuckle - a most lovely sign of Spring there ..//. I suppose it's needed - but it's a shame they turn them into more of a commodity by spraying numbers onto their body.. it's just the same over here. // Keep well and Cheers'... fron Dj.

Cheers David..............lambs are always a cheery sight this time of year. I suspect the numbers are to help with the management of the flock..........and to be brutally honest, to the farmer the sheep are a commodity..!!

Diese Schafe haben keinen Namen mehr, sondern alle nur mehr eine Nummer,wie es auch im Leben heute leider ist,ich finde die Kleinen aber richtig entzückend,wie sie sich da gesammelt haben,sie haben gewußt,dass sie gleich so schön fotogrfaiert werden,da hast du gleich sehr schöne Aufnahmen gemacht lieber Keith :))

I suppose that given the size of some flocks nowadays, it would not be practical to give them all a name. It is a shame though.............

I was given a number when I joined the RN in 1968...........I can still remember it today, whereas nowadays I have trouble remembering my name :-)))
