The copper beach is so beautiful Keith. One of my favourite trees. It is as majestic as the beautiful house! It looks like you had to walk quite a way, but the result is well worth it.

I agree, that is a beautiful copper beech that sits nicely with the fabulous house and the lovely light in this well composed image, Keith.
To my shame, I knew nothing of this beautiful house until now, but will be researching it a little later.

Uppark is a lovely place to visit...........not huge, but it's fairly close to where I live and a good place to go when I don't have much time. It was almost destroyed a few years back by a fire, the restoration work has been awesome!

That day, I'd gone there with a friend to try and shoot some Red Kites and Kestrels, but failed miserably as, although there were quite a few around, they never came close enough to get a decent photo. Lovely to watch though.
