This fellow is the most forward of our current family of crows. He doesn't beg for peanuts, but he's always the first down when they are put out.
That white feather (or a string of them like it) has been his constant companion since he was young, almost a year ago.
This was at noon today, after the worst of the snow that fell was down. We got about twenty cm in the past twenty-four hours. The calendar may say Spring, but that means nothing.
