Out for a walk

I scanned this negative the other day and keep going back to it since then. It was a walk, an 8-km hike, that a bunch of us made in July 2002. This was very near the beginning and everyone was looking very fresh.
My friend G, at the rear of the line, got sick about ten years after this and died in 2016. All the rest of us are still hale, including his wife and daughter, at the head of the line.
This was Agfa APX100 shot, I think, in my Canonet.
