My mother's grandmother's cactus returns

Every year at Christmas and around Easter, this year four weeks early, the cactus I inherited from my mother blooms. She used to joke that it bloomed on her wedding anniversary because it was a wedding present from her grandmother just a couple of days before Christmas, in 1943. Mom kept it alive until she herself died and I took the main plant after that. Many clones have come from it, but this flower is on that mother plant.
Given that we're going to be spending a lot of time at home during the next month, I'm glad to have to have some brightness with these fresh blooms.
