Flickers flocking in the flocons
Out for a walk
Snow still there
Someone's end times.
My mother's grandmother's cactus returns
Some lights
Minnie considering her social distance
Leaf
Chick peas about to boil
Crow
Changes
Tide dropping at Welbourne Bay
Ex-hoverfly
Feet
Hornet moth, Sesia apiformis
Grackle, finally
Venus with the Seven Sisters
Myrtle and Harry
Moon over Shea Heights
That moon again
Starling manna-waiting
Starling pair
Blue, back from the vet
Halibut cheeks
Cheeks
My street tonight
Eggborough
Stock cooling
Long time coming
Back from a road trip
Cold day, from a warm room
Ghost colours
He prefers suet to peanuts
She prefers peanuts to suet.
Scowlery
Limited handiness
Redfish
Buncha problems
Waiting for an eclipse
What passes for thought . . .
Wrapt plants
They blew out the candles
Even today people sometimes call it The Mental
The Battery
St. John's Harbour from Deadman's Pond

Jack

Jack and I worked in the same building for fifteen years. He retired early and started a little tea-room at the edge of St John's harbour. But sadly he got sick and he closed it. The following year, though, his nephew restarted it.
While I was showing a friend of my brother around town, one day in 2002, that is where I found Jack. He is looking somewhat skeptically at my brother's friend.
Jack died a year or two later. I'm glad I have this picture of him.
Agfa APX 100 film in, I think, my Canonet camera. I don't think I ever printed this when it was new. I scanned it a few days ago.
