Thank you very much Jaap. Kircudbright is an interesting town and is known for it's arts and crafts and art tours. It was the setting for some of the scenes from the Wicker Man and wicker artwork is sometimes to be found here. I have read that an 18foot wicker horse will feature in the Kircudbright Festival of Light. These figures were an unexpected sight for me though.

Thank you very much Rosa. I saw some pictures online where the vikings were dressed as fishermen!! The shell lady suffered some vandalism at some point, as did the funhouse mirrors around the corner from here. There was a tardis there too - all very random but fun.

Kircudbright is known for its arts and crafts and some of the scenes from the Wicker Man were also filmed here

:))) The gold boots take me back to the days of glam rock, - although the suit is more new romantics!. As for the headwear - that is something else!! Hats I love - but I draw the line at horns!!! By the time I have grown my hair long enough to braid it the fashion will have changed again!!!
