Thank you very much Andy. This is the part of Portree I like the best, even if the weather isn't great. It is nice to watch the boats . I am pleased you liked the song. Gene Clark was a co-founder of the Byrds and a singer/songwriter. He sadlly died of a heart attack at the age of 46

Thanks for that, Carol. as soon as you mentioned The Byrds, it all came back to me but even then I didn't know that he had he died! But I seem not to notice these things - for example, I only recently heard that Screaming Lord Such had died ... and that was 23 years ago! I must try better at getting up to speed on things!

The rain has created a lovely atmospheric scene, A well framed photo, Carol. And, an excellent musical match and brilliant to see a link to a Gene Clark song. Gene is one of my all-time favourites! I have pretty much most of Gene's music although some are still on the wanted list! There is one ("The Lost Studio Sessions") I was going to buy recently but the price was just a wee bit too much!!
