Skoruvíkurbjarg

Skoruvíkurbjarg
The cliffs of Skoruvíkurbjarg and the rock Stóri Karl are home to the second largest breeding colony of northern gannets in Iceland. The cliffs also house large numbers of (Brünnichs) guillemots as well as puffins, kittiwakes and razorbills.

Die Klippen von Skoruvíkurbjarg mit dem Felsen Stóri Karl beherbergen die zweitgrößte isländische Brutkolonie von Basstölpeln. Außerdem brüten an den Klippen zahlreiche Trottellummen und Dickschnabellummen sowie Papageientaucher, Dreizehenmöwen und Tordalke.
