Fulmars are among my favourite birds................and they're such wonderful birds to watch. They actually have a little desalination plant in their nasal passage - how cool is that?

These are really lovely photos Gudrun.........and such a beautiful location.

Thank you, Keith! Yes, they are really amazing, the only ones in the northern hemisphere to have that desalination plant:-) In the southern hemisphere there are loads of birds like that from petrels to Albatrosses.
