This and the following glass plate negative are posted for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of TRAINS OR TRAIN STATIONS.
Taking the liberty of posting two to make up for my October absence!
This first image has a train station similar to an old one in my village including the background houses and mountain although I bought this glass plate in New York state, not Vermont. (The one in our village is now used as a house.)
It's obviously damaged but I prefer this one to the rather sparse second image.

I did make out the Western Union sign, but I remember being a little disappointed as I'd hoped it would be the name of the station. Don't think I was able to make out the other sign, either.
