Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: A STITCH IN TIME - Doing needlework, knitting, or weaving.
This is a photo of my Auntie Pearl and cousin John. they are on holiday in Essex, 1949, and my aunt is most likely knitting for my cousin- to- be, Heather, born in January, 1950.

I hope that you and the people you love are all staying well in these strange, scary days.

Nice photo! Given the way your aunt seems to be squinting in the bright sunlight, I wonder if your cousin is trying on her sunglasses.

All my family and friends here in Pennsylvania are doing okay so far, and I'm fortunately able to work at home during this perilous pandemic pandemonium. Hope all is well with you and yours!

Thanks, Bob. My mother was an avid photographer and I took over her many albums when she became blind, years ago. My mother has just moved in with us and now I can tell her what and when I post, so that's fun.
Carrying on the family tradition, I also have countless albums - and collect vintage photos, too

Hi Alan - Glad to hear that you are well and can continue work. I am working at the library, but in a locked down building - so I leave my house, drive 4 miles, and spend my time doing all the shelf work I've had no chance to get to!
Thankfully, so far, we are all well.
