Where's There Smoke, There's Fire
First recorded in November, 1934 by Glen Gray and His Casa Loma Orchestra “Where There’s Smoke There’s Fire” (Jerry Levinson – A.J. Neiburg – Marty Symes) featured saxophonist and vocalist Kenny Sargent. This is edited to include the vocal.
Clarinetist, saxophonist and singer Elmer Feldkamp sang with Freddy Martin and His Orchestra when they hit number twenty with “Where There’s Smoke, There’s Fire” in 1935. Lifelong friends with Guy Lombardo it was Freddy who led the Royal Canadians when Guy had heart problems.
