The 1938 Adolph Menjou, Jack Haley motion picture “Thanks For Everything” (Harry Revel – Mack Gordon) had the title song sung by Tony Martin (Alvin Morris).

The hit “Thanks For Everything” was recorded by Artie Shaw and His Orchestra when it topped the charts in 1939. Helen Forrest is the singer of note. The phrase is written on Helen’s grave marker at Mount Sinai Memorial Park.
