Wild Wild Life
In 1984 David Byrne and Talking Heads (Chris Frantz, Jerry Harrison and Tina Weymouth) recorded several sessions in David’s New York apartment. Many of those songs were finished and used on future albums. In 2021 David Byrne issued the album “True Creatures Demos” that opened with “Wild Wild Life” (David Byrne).
“Wild Wild Life” was the lead single from the top twenty Talking Heads album “True Stories”. The song peaked at number twenty-five on Billboard in 1986. The next year the video for the tune won “Best Group Video” from MTV. John Goodman, before he attained stardom on “Roseanne” appeared in the video.
